"Victorian Afternoon Tea" Step back in time to the Victorian era and enjoy a unique afternoon elegant tea. The idea of afternoon tea is for you and your guests to enjoy an opportunity to retreat from the hurried pace of the world and enjoy conversation and beautifully prepared foods in a gracious setting. Taking afternoon tea and serving an elegant tea fit for a Queen is Juanita's specialty. Each tea celebration is an eclectic mixture of English and American customs. We create a different menu for each individual function, usually built around the month of the year, wedding or holiday theme, so that each tea is a new adventure for any special occasion, bridal showers, formal weddings, baby showers, business meetings, garden clubs, and children's tea. We believe each client is unique and has special needs, therefore each and every tea is custom created, designed and coordinated to fill your personal needs. We create your tea party to be uniquely yours, each event is given a Theme Name, the menu is personally created with tea sandwiches and savories, specialty tea and desserts to go your unique theme and coordinated with the season of the year. Tea is not to be rushed: It is to be steeped in tradition, enjoyed with friends in conversation and romance of a by gone era. Our custom created "Tea Fantasies" are unique- course after course is served on elegant era glassware, antique silver and china, dressed with fresh or dried flowers, accompanied by Victorian music. Our minimum guarantee for a Tea Party is 12 guests. Prices vary according to menu, rental of participating bed & breakfasts, vintage halls, hotels, ballrooms, formal gardens and/or the table, chair, linens and/or china service required for large groups, and is subject to availability.
